Hallacas - Venezuelan Tamales (Venezuela)



The Hallaca is the Traditional Venezuelan Christmas holiday food. Is made with a Venezuela cornmeal dough prepared with Harina PAN  and  filled with a delicious Guiso made with mixture of vegetables, beef, pork, chicken, raisins, capers, olives and wine. Them is wrapped with plantain leaves, tied with strings, and boiled.
La Hallaca es parte de las Navidades Venezolanas. Se prepara una masa con harina de maíz Harina PAN que se rellena con  un delicioso Guiso preparado vegetales, carne de res, cerdo, pollo, pasas, alcaparras, aceitunas, vino y se envuelven en hojas de platanos que se amarran con pabilo y se cocinan hervidas.
